Know every vehicle — or just the part you need.
Those 17 characters on the dashboard aren’t random. They say who built the car, where, and which one it was coming off the line. Watch one get read — then we go and find out what’s happened to it since.
Real merchant prices from Google Shopping, with the part number and condition attached — never a figure pulled out of a search snippet. Works with or without a VIN.
Two ways in
You found a car. You want to know it’s straight, what’s known to go wrong on it, and whether the price is fair — before you hand over money.
- Free check — recalls, known issues, price read, no signup
- Full report — market value, history, the GarageIntel Score
- Deal Coach — what to offer, and where to walk away
You buy to resell. You need a fast buy-or-pass call, the recon risk, what it really sells for, and somewhere to run the numbers. The reseller toolset comes with membership — $25/mo, cancel whenever.
- Flip Check — verdict, spread and days-to-turn from year/make/model, no VIN
- The max-offer worksheet — the most you can pay and still clear your margin, built into Flip Check
- Flip Pipeline — every car you’re working, with running profit and loss
What’s free, and what membership adds
Your Garage, the GarageIntel Score and a full report preview come with a free account — still no card.
What comes back
A report should tell you what it knows — and admit what it doesn’t.
Most vehicle reports fill every field, because an empty row looks like a broken product. We would rather show you the gap. If a figure isn’t genuinely there for your VIN, this app says so, and charges you nothing for it.
Never an estimate dressed up as a fact.
What it costs
- Market value, comparable listings and listing history on any VIN
- The reseller tools — max-offer worksheet, side-by-side Compare & Flip Pipeline
- The full Deal Coach, and search history kept on your account
- Free check and a full report preview need no membership — you can start there
You’re only charged for a fresh lookup — if the same VIN was pulled in the last day, that part is served from cache at no cost. A typical full report runs about $5 of the $20. The NMVTIS title report will be a separate add-on when it’s live, never part of the $20.
Dock Intel
The same idea, pointed at boats. Every vessel documented with the U.S. Coast Guard carries a federal record — build, dimensions, hull, what it’s legally allowed to do, and whether there’s a lien on it. Dock Intel reads it back plainly, and shows you the parts it can’t answer instead of filling them in.
- 386,962 documented hulls on file, refreshed monthly
- ~28,000 carry a maritime lien — which also blocks state registration
- Compare vessels side by side — free, no signup
The ~26–65 ft documented-vessel segment first — the boats big enough to need an oversize-load permit to move by road. The full vessel report is $5, and included with GarageIntel membership.
- Decoded Hull ID, hull material and build year
- Owner of record, documentation status and endorsed use
- Maritime-lien flag, called out plainly wherever it shows
Straight answers
Is this really a beta?
Yes. GarageIntel is live and it works, but it’s early. The paid tier is capped at 25 founding members while we prove it out, and a full NMVTIS title & accident history report isn’t included yet — that’s the add-on we’re building next. We’d rather say that up front than pad the report.
What do I get for $25 a month?
Real market value and comparable listings for any VIN, listing and auction history, the factory build sheet, the full Deal Coach negotiation plan, and the reseller tools — the max-offer worksheet in Flip Check, side-by-side Compare, and the Flip Pipeline. $20 of usage credit resets each month, about four full reports. The free VIN check and a full report preview need no membership — start there.
What’s not included?
Reported accidents, salvage and title-brand records, the odometer timeline, and service history. Those need a full NMVTIS report, which isn’t on our data plan yet. The GarageIntel Score caps its own ceiling for what it can’t verify, and the Clean-Report Check spells out what a clean record wouldn’t rule out — the report is honest about the gap rather than hiding it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes — one click from Manage Billing, no contract and no cancellation fee. Usage credit doesn’t roll over and a partial month isn’t refunded, but nothing renews once you’ve cancelled.
Is my payment safe?
Payments run through Stripe. GarageIntel never sees or stores your card number.
What’s the founding-member deal?
The first 25 members lock in at $25 a month, and when we come out of beta you get one to two months on us — a thank-you for backing it early.
